Connections Job Club

Networking with a purpose......

We are proud to announce our alignment with WaggleForce.com, the nationwide networking movement that is working to put America back to work.....one worker at a time!  Waggle Force is the name of the movement started by Tory Johnson, founder of Women for Hire.  It is Tory's mission to encourage people to assist each other in their job search efforts, and to help work together until everyone who wants a job - has a job!

How WaggleForce Began

This national job club was founded in October 2009 by Tory Johnson. She is the CEO of Women For Hire, which has produced career expos nationwide since 1999, the Workplace Contributor on ABC’s Good Morning America, and a New York Times-bestselling author of career books. After starting pilot career clubs around the country for a year, Tory and her team gathered the best practices based on what works well for communities to empower people back to work—and used that knowledge and information to form WaggleForce.

Why WaggleForce? Career clubs are like honey bees—they work individually for the good of the group. The dance that bees perform to communicate the location of vital resources—the best nectar, pollen and water—is called a waggle. That’s exactly what career clubs do—join in a collaborative effort to get communities back to work.
